ION Security and Investigation is licensed by the State of Texas to provide security officers and private investigators in Texas. We are located in Longview, Texas and are locally owned and operated. The licensed owners of ION Security and Investigation are Steve Richardson and Juneau Embry, both with over twenty years of security experience.

Steve Richardson is licensed by the Texas Private Security Bureau as a Level 3 Instructor, a Private Investigator, and a Commissioned Security Officer. He is a graduate Kilgore College and an FAA Certified Drone Pilot.

Juneau Embry is licensed by the Texas Private Security Bureau as a Level 3 Instructor, a Private Investigator, and a Commissioned Security Officer. She is a graduate of the East Texas Police Academy and served as a Deputy Constable with a Peace Officer’s license.  She is a graduate of the University of Houston and South Texas College of Law.

ION Security and Investigation is fully licensed and insured as required by the State of Texas. All security officers and investigators are trained and wear police-like uniforms and a fully equipped duty belt.  All security officers are licensed by the State of Texas, fully insured, and meet all the training requirements of the Texas Private Security Bureau. ION Security and Investigation provides both armed and unarmed experienced security officers.
